Credit card application
|
|
It is important to know how you are going to use your credit
card before applying for it.
If you need a card just for purchases and will be paying the
monthly bill in full and have no need for the frequent flier
program it would be good to apply for a credit card that does
not charge any annual fee and offers a longer grace period.
If you are likely to carry over a balance from month to month,
it would be beneficial to get a card that carries a lower
interest rate (stated as an annual percentage rate, or APR).
If you are going to use your card to get cash advances, you'll
want to apply for a card that carries a lower APR and lower
fees on cash advances. Some cards charge a higher APR for
cash advances than for purchases. Before you finalize your
credit card application examine all the information below
that can assist you to determine which credit card to apply
for.
